Has The Church lost it’s luster? When people think of Christianity, does it think of a community of people who still create a sense of awe in the world today just as those who came before us did in the first century? I fear we have lost the luster of awe…but it doesn’t have to be! Jesus promised “megas ergon” which is Greek for greater works. This message isn’t just a word for City Life for 2021, it is our road map for the future…for the next 15 years! There is a miracle I believe the world is desperate to see…a “greater works” that Jesus not only prophesied but prayed for in John 17. I hope this message both inspires and challenges, motivates and corrects!
