What if you knew that you only had 6 days to live? In John 12:1 this is where we find Jesus. And what is so striking is that He isn’t in a hurry. He has nothing to make right. He has no regrets. If I have the benefit of knowing when the end is near, I don’t want to be in a hurry because I didn’t live well before. I don’t want to be consumed by making things right because I acted selfishly before. I don’t want to be overcome by regrets because I hurt more people than I helped. And I certainly don’t want to look back to today, my life in 2020 and weep because I didn’t stand up against hate and racism. This message is about someone hearing, “It’s time!” It’s time for you to take a stand. And as we stand…let’s stand well. Jesus fought the greatest battle the Universe has yet to see and as He fought, He never stepped out of bounds, never broke a rule, never cheated to gain favor. May it be said of us in our fight today!
