Who are you listening to? Who is influencing you? There are so many voices vying for your attention: social media, news outlets, family, friends, co-workers, culture, just to name a few. John 10 tells us, “my sheep know my voice…the voice of strangers they do not know.” We of course will hear the many voices, but which voice will we follow? Who you listen to might be the most powerful influencer on the trajectory of your life. In this sermon, we look at the life of King Saul and King David as an illustration of the difference between following the voice of people and following the voice of God. God is not looking for us to be perfect, but to be those who listen to His voice and follow where He leads. Who has your ear?
