Well, every week we come with a plan that’s been prayed through, prayed over, and prayed for…and every week we submit ourselves and our plan for the Holy Spirit to have His way. When Pastor Vannessa shared during the worship time a sense that people were there who were in need of a miracle, yielding to the Holy Spirit’s change of direction was not only an easy decision, it was our reflex. As we often teach through our discipleship model, Shema means that listening and obeying are two sides of the same coin. it might be difficult to see if you are watching through our YouTube channel from the camera angles, but the altar area was full of people. And then, we knew more people needed to come, were holding back, so we extended another invitation for prayer, continued in worship…and more came! The sermon portion is condensed this week, gladly, to make room for the extended time in worship and for the prophetic words of encouragement offered throughout the service. There is an ache inside of each of us…to be seen by God. To not just know that God exists but to experience His manifest presence, to be seen by Him, to know Him intimately as our Creator and through Christ, to be born into His family and walk with Him as our Father. If you carry that ache, to be seen by Him, then come visit us soon for one of our Saturday worship services…we would love to kneel with you at the altar!
