There are a multitude of ways you can begin to discover City Life!
Weekend Worship: If you live in the area, consider visiting us in person for one of our weekend worship services. There are four core values we champion here at City Life: diversity, ministry, community, and generosity…and there is nothing like experiencing those live and in person! Our promise is that you will feel like family from the first hello, welcomed by new friends and inspired by a Jesus centered message.
Livestream: And for everyone who lives just a little too far for a visit, our online service is waiting for you! Each week we have a team of people who are working hard behind the scenes to create a dynamic online worship experience for you wherever you are. Each platform is hosted by people on our team who are there to encourage you, answer your questions, and even pray with you there online. You can still discover City Life even when we are miles apart.
Welcome Center: For those in person, stop by our Welcome Center just outside the sanctuary on your way inside for a gift and to find someone who has all the answers to your practical questions like help with child-care or even where the bathrooms are.
Text In: For those in person and online, there is a number you can use to checkin with us as a guest. This helps us better understand how we can serve your needs and learn more about your story. So when you visit, text GUEST to 757.644.1760 to get the conversation started!
Coffee & Donuts: Starting in August, we will be hosting a kid friendly coffee and donuts reception on the 3rd Saturday of each month immediately following the service. Part of visiting a church is having the opportunity to meet some of the staff and other volunteer leaders who are here to serve you and your family. So make plans to swing by for some delicious sweets and coffee!
Discover City Life: And finally, throughout the year we host a dinner following our Saturday service called Discover City Life. Kids are invited and many of our staff team and volunteer leaders are there to share a meal and begin what we believe can be meaningful friendships that we have found last even after people find themselves moving out of the area. We hear stories all the time of people going on vacation and on the way stopping by to see friends who once lived in the area. Meaningful relationships are waiting for you here and like you, we have found burgeoning friendships often begin at a shared table. Be listening for when the next Discover City Life is coming!
