So where do we go from here? That’s the question we are asking as we enter the home stretch for this series. We’ve explored Resurrection Sunday, Good Friday, The Last Supper, Palm Sunday…all in reverse order! What? Yes, instead of starting with Palm Sunday and working our way to Resurrection Sunday, we have explored the Easter narrative in reverse order. Oftentimes if you only study Scripture in the same sequence, you miss insights and details because looking at the same events in the same sequence year after year conditions you to look for the same revelations. Is that approach still spiritually edifying? Of course, but not as impactful as seeking to pickup new insights throughout your lifetime of study. So back to my question, where do we go from here? I think the answer is found in this one simple phrase: towards togetherness. Yes, allowing a deeper desire for and stronger commitment to covenant relationship defined by love to grow in our hearts. And in part one of this message, we will examine how being rooted and established in love requires us to love: relentlessly, sacrificially, and forgivingly. Thank you for listening and for allowing the call of Christ to love one another as He has loved us to permeate your heart and become infectious throughout the communities you embrace!
