Throughout the year, there are ample opportunities to gather in meaningful settings to build deeper friendships and impact our city. And as we gather, not only will your friendships grow deeper but I trust you will also be inspired in your faith, be encouraged in our journey, and be challenged in your devotion to Christ! As we endeavor together to build the church Jesus envisioned, to love the world He died to save, let’s never forget the work always begins with the Holy Spirit building the character of Christ in us…while we are in community together!

Wednesdays, weekly – Youth Service 311 Selden Rd, Newport News
This is our weekly youth service for middle & high school students. Bring your students for an amazing time of fun, friendship and Biblical instruction. The service starts at 7pm.
7 – Worship & Prayer 311 Selden Rd, Newport News
We will have a one hour worship and targeted prayer time together on the first Thursday of each month in 2024. Please join us in the chapel from 7-8pm as we spend time in God’s presence and pray together.
12 – Port Homeless Outreach Parkview Baptist, 604 Hilton Blvd, NN
Join us as we partner with Parkview Baptist Church to provide a hot meal, warm bed and safe space for those in our city without a permanent home. Check out all of the details and sign up here.
19 – 3rd Saturday Connect! 311 Selden Rd, Newport News
Immediately following our weekly worship service, we will have coffee and donuts outside for everyone….with a focus on welcoming and meeting new folks! If you have been checking out City Life – either for the very first time or for the last few weeks we invite you to plan to stay for a few extra minutes to meet our pastors, get any questions you may have answered and connect with our amazing church family. Every time there is a 5th Saturday in a month we take our service outside of the four walls of 311 Selden Road and serve in different capacities in our region. Come join us on Friday from 10am-2pm as we decorate our church building for the Christmas season. Lunch will be provided…and lots of Christmas music and treats!
21 – A Riverside Christmas 311 Selden Rd, Newport News
Join us for a one hour, family friendly neighborhood Christmas service. There will be a children’s story time, Christmas carols and even a hot cocoa bar following as we celebrate birth of Christ! We would love to have you, your family and your friends join us at 5pm.
