When you were a teenager and late for curfew, what was your excuse…or should we just call it for what it was, lol…what was your lie? I think I was late for my curfew only one time, and I said I caught at a train crossing. My Dad had this look in his eye that was a cross between being suspicious and being impressed by such a great excuse! So let me ask you, do you feel like it’s time to come home to God? Do you feel like you’re late? Do you feel like you should have come home long ago? Is one of the reasons you haven’t come home because you aren’t sure how you’ll find God’s disposition toward you? Do you expect Him to be angry, resentful, vengeful, or worse…indifferent? This message is for you. Whether you are feeling that urge to come to God for the first time or that feeling to come home again, this message is for you. So let me tell you how you are going to find Him…overjoyed, patient, and accompanied! What’s that last one mean? Well, you’ll just have to listen/watch to find out! I’ll share some practical steps you can take to help you as you wrestle with this feeling of coming home and some voices you’ll have to overcome if you are going to follow all the way through. He’s waiting for you. If you feel far from God, it’s time, it’s time to come home to Him.
