Let us always remember that historic night when the angelic host proclaimed to the shepherds the coming of our Messiah, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” This proclamation is filled with a multitude of promises and one of them gives us our Christmas series this year at City Life Church: Shalom. Shalom is a deep sense of well being and goodness, a word that is translated in our Bibles as peace. Jesus in some of His last moments with His closest friends said that He was going to give them His peace, His shalom. And we believe that promise still stands today, for us! In our message tonight we will explore further the meaning of shalom, how shalom is connected to what believe about God, and also where we will headed with this series in the coming weeks. But the most important part of tonight’s message is remember that we cannot have Jesus’ peace without first having Him! What doest that mean? Well, let’s listen together to find out…
