The Holy Spirit…the forgotten gift of Christmas. As we enter into one of the most sacred seasons of the year, celebrating the birth Jesus, let us not forget Jesus’ birth also marked the coming of the Holy Spirit! Jesus made possible what all of creation longed for, the return of the Holy Spirit living within God’s most precious creation, His children. There is mystery, perplexing questions, surrounding who the Holy Spirit is, what He does, where He is, and many more fascinating courses of study. Every mystery will not be fully revealed until Heaven but let us endeavor to discover every measure of mystery possible this side of eternity. This series is committed to that journey, answering questions through the careful study of Biblical texts dealing with part of who God is…divine, omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent…The Holy Spirit. Both campuses will be sharing in this same series, in Newport News and Suffolk. Pastor Justin and I while finding our own direction to explore, thematically both series will be the same, greater understanding of The One God has given to lead us into all truth!
