Easter and salvation for many has become about Jesus punching our ticket into Heaven.
Jesus is risen, and we too will step out of our graves and ascend. And praise God for that. But with this perspective once we’ve punched our ticket into Heaven, we often clock out on Earth- missing out on the eternal life intended for us to live in this life. Eternal life isn’t merely quantitative. It’s qualitative. And the chief quality of eternal life as defined in John 17- relationship with Jesus. That can start now! Tonight we’ll dive into Jesus’ picture of himself as the vine and us as his branches in John 15, how that informs our relationship with Him, and how it helps us step deeper into relationship with Him!
