“Don’t judge” is a mic drop statement used time and time again in our culture in the name of tolerance. “Don’t judge” are the words of Jesus Christ, as well as a sentiment repeated by Paul and others in the Bible. But are these mic drop statements that provide us with the full truth of the matter, or does the Bible have far more to say about judging than we’d think? As we dig into the content and context of scripture tonight we’ll find the Bible in fact says so much about judging that it provides a useful filter of principles to operate through.
