The generational curse – a pattern of sin one is bound to due to the sins of one’s forefathers. It’s a churchy mythology built on half truths and scripture stripped of context. But the Devil uses lies not that dissimilar to sow havoc into our lives- both as kids and as parents. Today we look at Korah’s kids, also known as “The Sons of Korah” who authored eleven Psalms. What can their Psalms teach us in light of their name’s legacy and troubling background? Are we cursed by the sins of generations before us? Are there consequences? What are they? And how do we transcend them – both in our own lives and as we parent our own children?
