“Are we there yet??” It’s the common cry of people on road trips eager to get to their destination. Jesus was a man that knew his destination- it says early in the Gospel of Luke that he set out resolutely for his destination, Jerusalem. Yet when we look at Jesus’ ministry and interactions, again and again it happens while he was “on his way.” Likewise, we spend a lot of time in life on the road, getting from point A to point B. We’re called to adopt the perspective of Christ, which we’ll call Road Rule #3 – “Value the Middle of Nowhere.” It’s a perspective we will see Phillip walk in as we dig into Acts 8. What we may see as obscure is ripe with opportunity for God to move!
