“Tell him he doesn’t need to worry.” “Tell her she doesn’t need to fear.” These are easier said than done in a divided culture where both sides feel like they’re losing and that the proverbial sky is falling. All that worry quickly rubs off on us. And there are often legitimate reasons in our lives for concern – both personally and politically! So how do we keep that from drifting into worry? Tonight we’ll dig into those two statements from above that the prophet Isaiah made to King Ahaz in Isaiah 7. Applied properly to our own lives they can inject hope into our hearts and minds again!
