So many people enter the new year with goals and resolutions! For most people, change and progress in life rarely comes without some sort of goal to motivate them. Good intentions need focus and clarity. And I hope that many people have set a goal and made a resolution that getting back to church is going to be a top priority! Do you have a church that you consider to be our home, your spiritual family? If you do, are you active there? Wait, before you answer, would the pastor say you are active there? If you don’t have a church and are going to start visiting churches in your area to find one, this message is for you. We are going to look at some remarks Jesus made that are recorded for us in Luke 20:45 – 21:6. I believe these verses give us 5 questions we should all ask before joining a church. Should we consider more than 5 questions before calling a church home? Certainly…but these 5 are a great place to start!
